Bake: You Will Need: 3 tablespoons water + 1/2 cup vegetable oil + 2 eggs (For cakelike brownies, use 3 tablespoons water, 1/2 cup vegetable oil and 3 eggs). Heat oven as directed in chart below. Grease bottom of pan. Stir Brownie Mix, water, oil and eggs in medium bowl until well blended. Spread in pan. Bake as directed in chart or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean; cool. Pan Size: 13 Inch x 9 Inch; Oven Temp: 350 degrees F; Bake Time (In minutes) (If using nonstick pan, shorten bake time by 3 min): 24-26; Pan Size: 9 Inch x 9 Inch; Oven Temp: 350 degrees F; Bake Time (In minutes) (If using nonstick pan, shorten bake time by 3 min): 40-42; Pan Size: 8 Inch x 8 Inch; Oven Temp: 325 degrees F; Bake Time (In minutes) (If using nonstick pan, shorten bake time by 3 min): 49-51. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Make brownies using 1/4 cup water, 1/3 cup oil and 2 eggs for regular brownies, 3 eggs for cakelike brownies. Do not eat raw brownie batter. Betty’s Tip: To cut warm brownies easily, use plastic knife and short sawing motions. Store tightly covered.Stir in an ingredient for intense flavor! Salty Crunch: Add 1/2 cup crushed mini pretzels or potato chips. Fruity Chew: Add 1/2-1 cup dried cherries, cranberries or coconut. More Chocolate: Add 1-2-1 cup chopped candy bars.
