Sugar, Enriched Bleached Flour (wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips (sugar, Unsweetened Chocolate, Cocoa Butter, Whole Milk Powder, Soy Lecithin (emulsifier), Vanilla Extract), Cocoa, Soybean Oil, Cocoa (processed With Alkali), Less Than 2% Of: Artificial Flavor, Baking Soda, Salt.

Prep

You Will Need: I/4 cup water; 1/3 cup vegetable oil; 1 egg. (1) Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Prepare baking pan by lightly greasing or spraying with non-stick cooking spray. (2) Place water, oil and egg in medium bowl and stir until fully mixed. Add brownie mix and stir until well blended. Spread in prepared pan. (3) Bake as directed below. Cool completely in pan before cutting. Pan size: 8 inches x 8 inches (metal); Bake time: 39-43 minutes. Pan size: 8 inches x 8 inches (glass); Bake time: 43-48 minutes. Pan size: 9 inches x 9 inches (metal); Bake time: 39-43 minutes. Do not overbake. Fresh-baked brownies appear under baked but cool to doneness. For thicker brownies, make batter using 2 tablespoons water, 1/3 cup vegetable oil and 2 eggs. Bake as directed. High Altitude: Add 1/4 cup all-purpose flour and an additional 2 tablespoons water. Do not eat raw batter. Duo cookie & Brownie bars: Cookie dough: 1 package Ghirardelli dark chocolate chip cookie mix. 1 egg. 1/2 cup butter, softened. Brownie batter: 1 package Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Brownie Mix. 1/4 cup water, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 1 egg. Heat oven to 325 degree F. Lightly grease 13x9x2-inches pan. In medium bowl. Stir together cookie mix, egg and butter until dough forms, hand kneading if necessary; set aside. In a second bowl, stir together brownie mix, water, oil and egg until fully blended. Spread brownie batter into prepared pan. Spoon cookie dough on top of brownie batter. Bake 40-45 minutes or until cookie is golden brown. Makes 24 servings.
