Prep

Keep refrigerated. Stovetop: Place separated bacon slices in cold skillet; do not overcrowd. Cook slowly over medium heat, 8-12 minutes or until crisp. Turn occasionally; drain on paper towels. Microwave: Place separated bacon slices between double layers of paper towels on microwave-safe plate. Microwave on high 1-2 minutes per slice or until crisp. Caution: plate may be hot. Microwave ovens vary; adjust times as needed. Oven: Place separated bacon slices on wire rack in baking pan. Bake in preheated 400 degrees F oven 15-20 minutes or until crisp. No turning necessary. Broil: Place separated bacon slices on wire rack in baking pan 3-4 inches from heat source. Broil 2-3 minutes on each side or until crisp.
