Cooking Instructions: Biscuits: Makes 9 biscuits. Ingredients: 2 1/4 cups Publix All-Purpose Baking Mix; 2/3 cup milk. Step 1: Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl until a soft dough forms. Step 2: Turn dough out onto surface dusted with baking mix. Knead dough 10 times. Roll dough out to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter. Place onto ungreased baking sheet. Step 3 Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden. Pancakes: Makes 12-16 pancakes. Ingredients: 2 cups Publix All-Purpose Baking Mix. 1 cup milk; 2 eggs. Step 1: Heat nonstick saute pan over medium-high (or electric griddle to 375 degrees F); coat with cooking spray. Step 2: Combine all ingredients until blended. Pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter for each pancake into pan. Step 3: Turn pancakes over when bubbles form; cook until golden brown on both sides. Cheeseburger Pot Pie: Number of Servings: 6. Ingredients: 1 lb lean ground beef; 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder; 1/2 teaspoon salt; 3/4 teaspoon pepper 1; (12-oz) bag mixed vegetables, thawed, drained; 1 (10.75-oz) can condensed tomato soup; 1 cup Publix All-Purpose Baking Mix; 1/2 cup milk; 1 egg; 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Add to large saute pan: beef, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook over medium-high for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until beef is browned and no pink remains; drain. Step 2 Stir vegetables and soup into beef; bring mixture to a boil. Spoon into ungreased 2-quart baking dish. Step 3: Combine in small bowl: baking mix, milk, and egg until blended; pour over beef mixture. Step 4: Bake uncovered 25-30 minutes or until crust is golden brown and beef is 160 degrees F. Top with cheese. Bake 3-5 more minutes or until cheese is melted. Homestyle Pizza: Ingredients 3: cups Publix All-Purpose Baking Mix; 2/3 cup hot water 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1/4 cup tomato paste 1/2 cup sweet onion, thinly sliced 1/2 cup bell pepper, thinly sliced 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms 2 oz sliced pepperoni 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese. Step 1: Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Combine in a large mixing bowl: baking mix, water, and oil until a soft dough forms; beat vigorously 20 strokes. Let stand 8 minutes. Step 2: Move oven rack to lowest position. Spray 12-inch pizza pan with cooking spray. Roll dough into 12-inch round and place on pizza pan. Bake 7 minutes. Step 3: Spread tomato paste over crust. Top with onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, and pepperoni. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake 8-10 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted. Do not eat/consume raw batter.
