Prep

Conventional Cooking Directions: Empty packet into bowl. Add 1/3 cup boiling water or hot milk; stir. Let stand for 1 minute before eating. Microwave Cooking Directions: Empty packet into microwave-safe bowl. Add 1/2 cup water or milk. Microwave on high 45 to 60 seconds; stir. Let stand 1 minute before eating. Additional Cooking Directions: To cool hot oatmeal quickly, add milk or an ice cube. Use a pot holder to handle hot bowl or pot. Use less water or milk for thicker oatmeal, or more water or milk for thinner oatmeal. Handle carefully; bowl may be hot. Due to differences in microwave ovens, cooking time is approximate.
