Cooking Directions: See perfect pasta guide for qualities and cook times. Boil water (to ensure good taste and texture, be sure to use enough water when boiling and to rinse after draining). To add flavor and reduce stickiness, add salt to taste (optional). Add pasta to boiling water. Return to a boil, stirring frequently. Cook uncovered for 9 – 11 minutes or until desired tenderness. Immediately drain in colander and rinse briefly with warm water (to ensure good taste and texture, be sure to use enough water when boiling and to rinse after draining). Drain well and use as desired. Perfect Pasta Guide: 2 servings al dente 9 min.; 1/3 box pasta firm 10 min.; 2 quarts water tender 11 min.; 1 tsp. salt. 3 servings al dente 9 min.; 1/2 box pasta firm 10 min.; 4 quarts water tender 11 min.; 2 tsp salt. 6 servings al dente 9 min.; full box pasta firm 10 min.; 6 quarts water tender 11 min.; 1 tbsp. salt. Maintaining Perfect Pasta: To keep cooked pasta fresh for later use, toss with a small amount of olive oil, and refrigerate.
